How we make a difference

Every time we test a website, we do more than fix code. We build skills, confidence, and opportunities for our testers. We create inclusion at scale — for organisations, for users, and for society.

Pav at Passion4Social was very patient with us from the beginning. We’re a small organisation with no dedicated web expert. We struggled with capacity and knowledge, even to be able to provide the right access to our website, but Pav talked us through what we needed to know with patience ... and empathy. A new team member, busy workloads and annual leave over the summer all meant that we couldn’t go as quickly as we would like. However, the team at Passion4Social was always flexible and happy to go at our own pace. The reports that we received were comprehensive and easy to understand. They’ve given us a concrete action list to get started, as well as some longer-term actions for us to put into place. Put simply, we didn’t know what we didn’t know and now we can make our website more accessible and inclusive.

We were delighted with the support received by Passion4Social via the Accessibility for All programme. We received great insight on the webinar we attended and have already implemented some changes recommended as a priority to make our website more accessible. The report we received was very detailed, and the team ... at Passion4Social were on hand to talk us through some of the more technical elements to ensure we understood exactly what the report was saying and recommending. We’re still in the process of making changes to make our website and future communications more accessible, and feel this has set us on the right path.

The strong relationship we built with Passion4 Social enabled us to have open and honest conversations and we valued their expertise ... in suggesting ideas to make the site the best it could be. Their flexibility and patience allowed us to agree on realistic and achievable timelines, which was crucial as we navigated the process alongside keeping up with our everyday work. Nothing was too much trouble, and no question was left unanswered. It was a pleasure to work with Passion4Social, and the fact that they are a CIC and their mission aligns with our own work made it a very positive match.

I would highly recommend Passion4Social for any organisation that is just starting out. From the organisational branding through to the final editing before the website launch, we were very impressed with the clear and creative advice provided.

The accessibility audit has really helped us to understand how someone with accessibility needs experiences our website. It has made us completely rethink how it is structured and how it functions, and we are now looking at a complete redesign to ensure that accessible practices are embedded throughout. It has ... also made us consider the accessibility of many of our other mediums, including printed materials. Many thanks for your work on this.
