Thiago Carmo

Managing Director, Marketing and Design Manager

Thiago is a Brazilian entrepreneur, has a master’s in Economic Development from the University of Glasgow, and is Managing Director at Passion4Social.

He has over 25 years of experience in Marketing and Design, working for 100s of organisations from the public, private and third sectors, including several multinationals (Motorola, Ford, GM, HP, PepsiCo, Omega, Roche, etc.) in Brazil, Belgium, Canada, and now in the UK.

Thiago has been a social entrepreneur since 2016. In 2018, he cofounded Passion4Social, a social enterprise with an innovative business model that creates sustainable employment opportunities for disabled people and those with minoritised backgrounds.

He is passionate about diversity, social impact, digital accessibility, and mainly helping people.

Pav Stewart

Operations Director

With over 21 years of experience in various business settings, Pav brings extensive expertise in customer service, operations, and people management.

Her approach is strongly people-centred, focused on building inclusive, supportive environments where individuals and teams can thrive.

In 2018, Pav cofounded Passion4Social, where she works behind the scenes to ensure the organisation’s mission becomes a reality—creating sustainable employment opportunities for disabled people and individuals from minoritised backgrounds, while supporting the team and processes that amplify social impact.

She holds a BA (Bachelor of Arts) in Accounting and an MSc (Master of Science) from Edinburgh Napier University, and is a certified Mental Health First Aider. Her commitment to equality, inclusion, and social impact is informed by lived experience of disability, a disadvantaged background, and participation in EDI groups.

She is driven by a strong purpose to support others and create meaningful, lasting change.

Allana Grant

Lead Content Writer and Accessibility Tester

Allana has over 16 years of experience in language translation, conference interpreting, language tuition, content writing, and journalism, alongside 5 years’ experience in accessibility testing. She is a proficient JAWS user and highly skilled in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Duxbury Braille Translation software.

Allana holds a Master of Arts with Honours (MA Hons (Lint) ) from Heriot-Watt University, a Diploma in Freelance Journalism from the British College of Journalism, and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.

Allana supports clients across all sectors to communicate key messages through engaging, informative content—from press releases and blog articles to social media campaigns and case studies.

She has tested almost 100 websites, contributing to Passion4Social’s mission to create an inclusive web that works for everyone.

Founder of Translatorisch, Allana delivered translation, tuition, Braille translation, and freelance journalism services across Lanarkshire and Glasgow.

She is a regular contributor to publications including Ability Magazine, the Glasgow News, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and Youth Football Scotland.

A passionate advocate for community participation, she has volunteered on Monklands Hospital Radio for six years and regularly contributes translations to the International Network of Street Papers.

Leo Ould

Graphic Designer

Leo Ould is a graphic designer with 5 years of experience in digital and web design, motion graphics, animation, and video editing.

They hold a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA (Hons)) from Plymouth University and a Master of Science (MSc) from the University of Dundee.

Leo brings creativity and technical expertise to projects across digital media, helping organisations communicate effectively through engaging visual content.

Kaz Becker

Outreach Coordinator

With 40 years’ experience in marketing and communications, Kaz helps clients—from global manufacturers to SMEs, and government departments to Third Sector organisations—anticipate the communication needs of diverse stakeholders and distil complex information into clear, relevant messages and compelling stories.

She is the founder of Creative Exchange @ The Guinness Partnership, a residents’ pop-up programme providing pathways to training and employment in the creative sector for disadvantaged young people.

She is also a partner in the Scottish Union of Supported Employment’s APT (Access, Participation, and Training) Experience Network, and an active member of Disability Equality Scotland, the UK Association for Accessible Formats, and Voice 4 Change England. She has completed the Boardroom Apprentice programme through the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Jo Morfee

Strategic Partnership Lead

Jo has been a social entrepreneur since 2016, co-founding and directing multiple purpose-led Community Interest Companies. She has over 15 years of experience in leadership and management roles, more recently advising and supporting small purpose-led organisations as a freelance consultant.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Jo spent over a decade working within the marketing, digital and technology sectors, in both public and private sector organisations.

Jo holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA Hons) in Law and Business.

Jo’s strengths lie in relationship management, partnership working, business development, innovation and fundraising. Her role at Passion4Social is a hybrid of managing our strategic partnerships and developing innovative new products and services.

As a certified Non-Violent Communication specialist and a trained facilitator, she believes in active listening and in the power of the collective to bring about change. She is passionate about Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Gill Lavansch-Brown

Communications Assistant

Gill has six years’ experience working in the Third Sector and a background in management. She is a freelance visual artist and qualified participatory arts practitioner, experienced in developing and delivering projects and working collaboratively with diverse groups and communities.

Passionate about the arts, culture, and fostering positive social change, Gill combines creativity with practical experience to support projects that make a meaningful impact.

She holds a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in Applied Arts and Social Practice from Queen Margaret University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA Hons) in Design for Textiles from Heriot-Watt University.

Dasha Gurevich

Web Development Dept. Team Leader

Dasha has over 7 years’ experience in web development, delivering digital solutions for clients across both the public and private sectors. She specialises in building and maintaining accessible, responsive websites using WordPress and technologies including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and CSS, following WCAG 2.2 standards.

She has worked on a wide range of web projects, developing custom functionality, and ensuring websites meet modern standards for performance, usability and accessibility.

Dasha is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), with experience in web accessibility testing and inclusive digital practices, supporting organisations to make their websites usable for the widest possible range of people.

She also holds a Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Level 8 qualification in IT and Telecommunications, equivalent to an honours-level undergraduate degree.

Alongside her professional work, Dasha is currently completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science.

Roberto De Marco

Web Developer

Roberto has six years of experience in web development and three years in accessibility testing. He specialises in building accessible websites using WordPress, the Genesis Framework, and Webflow, following WCAG 2.2 standards.

With expertise in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, Roberto develops scalable, user-focused websites that meet modern standards for performance and accessibility.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Glasgow Caledonian University and applies his technical knowledge to deliver practical digital solutions for a range of clients.
