Once hailed as the great equaliser, the web has become just another locked door for many of the estimated 1.3 billion people worldwide living with a disability or long-term health condition.
According to the WebAIM 2025 report, 95.9% of the world’s top million websites fail even basic accessibility standards, resulting in exclusion on a staggering scale.
Not forgetting the continued reinforcement of systemic inequities that send out the message that no one should ever hear: “you don’t belong.”
The impact is felt across every area of life: socially, economically and environmentally.
At Passion4Social, we know this does not have to be the reality.
Making the digital world accessible to everyone is not some untouchable pipe dream.
It can, and will be achieved, but real progress only begins with changing hearts and minds.
Accessibility is still too often viewed as an optional extra, or a costly and time-consuming inconvenience.
Through our accessibility audits, consultancy services, storytelling, and resources, we are working to change that narrative every day by:
- Raising awareness of the invisible barriers people face online.
- Highlighting both the human cost of poor accessibility and the competitive advantages of inclusive services.
- Giving organisations the practical advice and strategies that take them beyond legal compliance towards authentic inclusion.
Why? At its core, accessibility is about people’s experiences, and when accessibility is done properly, it improves the web for everyone.

Accessibility that reflects everyday experiences
Our accessibility services are built around a simple philosophy: automated testing alone is never enough to set anyone on the road to accessible digital products and services.
Tools such as PowerMapper can identify technical issues like missing labels or colour contrast failures, but they cannot replicate the experience of navigating a website with diverse access needs.
Lived experience makes all the difference.
That is why every audit we deliver combines automated scanning with manual testing, carried out by trained disabled professionals.
Clients can choose which access needs they need to prioritise, from visual and hearing impairments to motor challenges and neurodiversity, ensuring testing reflects the audiences they serve.
We also design user journeys based on analytics data and automated results, allowing us to identify barriers in the areas of websites that matter most to users.
We do not stop at identifying problems either.
We support organisations to implement practical improvements, whether it means improving website design, creating accessible documents, or embedding accessibility into digital processes and working cultures.
The services we provide also pave the way for sustainable employment opportunities.
For every ten audits we deliver, we provide part-time employment to approximately three disabled people each month, opening access to the accessibility testing profession and giving others a solid platform to find the job they really want.

Supporting organisations throughout their accessibility journey
Over time, we have recognised that organisations come to accessibility with very different levels of experience and confidence.
Some are taking their first steps, while others are working towards full compliance with standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or the European Accessibility Act (EAA) firmly in their sights.
To reflect this, we have developed a package-based approach to our accessibility auditing services that allows organisations to engage with accessibility in a way that feels achievable and sustainable.
Our Starter Accessibility Check is designed for organisations beginning their journey.
Ideal for: Small organisations, CICs, charities, or anyone with no prior accessibility knowledge, it combines automated testing with feedback from real user testers and provides a clear, prioritised report highlighting the most important areas for improvement.
It offers a practical and affordable way to understand accessibility barriers and begin addressing them.
Our Trailblazer Accessibility Check builds on this foundation.
It is the perfect fit for organisations with prior knowledge and accessibility initiatives who want to take the next step.
Alongside testing and reporting, organisations receive ongoing mentoring, access to practical resources, and regular support to help embed accessibility into everyday working practices.
Our Impact: Full Accessibility Audit provides a comprehensive evaluation for organisations that need detailed compliance mapping and deeper insight.
This includes expanded user testing across a wider range of disabilities, in-depth journey testing aligned to analytics, and strategic recommendations.
This one is ideal for large organisations, public bodies, corporates, or those aiming for formal certification, i.e. WCAG, EEA or ADA.
Across all packages, we aim to balance technical accuracy with plain-language guidance, ensuring digital accessibility is understandable, practical, and sustainable.
We also offer optional add-ons, including consultancy support, re-testing, tailored training, and multi-site testing.
Our in-house team of designers and developers, who have lived and learned experience of digital accessibility barriers, can also provide additional technical support if needed.

Creating lasting cultural change
We know that digital accessibility is not a one-off tick box exercise.
Sustainable change can only happen when organisations build accessibility into culture, planning, and decision-making processes.
That is why we go beyond auditing services.
We provide consultancy on accessibility standards, design processes, procurement, and long-term accessibility strategy.
Clients receive both technical and plain-language reports following their audits, and we continue to support them as they embark on their accessibility journey.
Education is also at the heart of our work.
Through free e-learning resources, interactive webinars, networking events, and blogs, we are raising awareness of accessibility challenges and supporting the next generation of accessibility professionals.
You see, we know that when organisations truly understand accessibility, they can achieve cultural change.
Not just compliance with legal standards, but understanding the direct connection to employee wellbeing, inclusive opportunities and people’s participation in wider society.
